  • Polystyrene(PS) is an important inertial confinement fusion target material.In order to realize the symmetrical fusion by the noncontacted holding methods,the magnetic target material Fe_3O_4-PS composite was fabricated with FeCl_(3),FeCl_(2),NaOH,styrene and organic dispersant.The characteristic of the Fe_3O_4-PS composite was analyzed by XRD,DTA and FTIR methods.The magnetic PS obtained in present study has the properties of fine crystal,uniformity of component and highness of magnetic performance.
