Study on Measurement Method of TwoPhase Flow Parameters Based on Digital Image Processing Techniques

  • The study of gas liquid two phase flow has important applications in nuclear reactor engineering. The paper introduces a measurement method of two phase flow parameters based on digital image processing techniques through processing image of an experiment study of the transient drag property on the high temperature particles falling into the cold liquid pool. The paper gets some information about the outlines, velocity, areas, and change of gas films and internal contracts of balls in different sizes by using subtract operation, binary image, fill holes of images, and so on.
