High Energy Particle Channeling in NanotubesRope

  • Recently, the nanotubes-rope, i.e. a large single crystal with the super-lattice structure, has been produced. Channeling of high energy particle in the nanotubes-rope shows a large diameter of the channels and weak de-channeling factors. In particle-beam field, the most intriguing applications of the nanotubes-rope channeling are connected with the possibility of particle acceleration in high gradient accelerating field, and with the possibility of construction of TeV colliders. The paper introduces the progress of these applied studies.
