Dose-Depth Distributions of Boron Neutron Capture Therapy Based on Modified Synder Geometry

  • According to the anatomical characteristics of the head of Chinese body,geometry, which is popularly applied to calculate boron neutron capture therapy(BNCT) dose distributions, was rebuilt, and the modified Synder model was established. Based on the modified model, the software about radioactive treatment was worked out using MCNP code. The dose-depth distributions of different energy neutron were calculated with and without boron-containing polyamines. The result is benefit to the impending BNCT clinical treatment research in our country.
