Performance Test of CaS:Ce,Sm Material Related to Optically Stimulated Luminescence Dosimeter

  • The radiation dose characteristics of optically stimulated luminescence material CaS:Ce,Sm is researched. The CaS:Ce,Sm/PMMA dosimeter sheet was irradiated by a 60Co γ-radiation source, and the fluorescence signal from dosimeter sheet was measured with the test system built by ourselves. The result indicates that CaS:Ce,Sm is short afterglow material and the influence of environment temperature on the material is very obvious. The intensity of fluorescence signal peak value and the adsorbed dose have a good linear relation in the scope of 0.1-100 Gy.
