γ-Spectrum Analyzing Based on Wavelet Transform

  • Statistical fluctuation should be filtered when the γ-spectrum is analyzed. In order to overcome the shortcoming of general smooth filtering methods, wavelet transform theory is used to filter the complex γ-spectrum. The statistical fluctuation of γ-spectrum is filtered well, and the shape of its characterize peak is kept well too. This method can make the γ-spectrum analyzing more precise on ascertaining species and intensity of the radioactive nuclides.
