Distribution of Helium Projectile Fragments From 197Au-Emulsion Interactions at 10.7 AGeV

  • The measurement of partial production cross-sections of the multiple helium projectile fragments emitted at 10.7 AGeV 197Au-emulsion interaction is reported. The production rate of helium fragment due to fragmentation of 197Au ion is studied and compared with that obtained from same projectile at different energies. It is found that the multiplicity distribution of helium projectile fragments obeys a KNO scaling.
