Abstract

The measurement of partial production cross-sections of the multiple helium projectile fragments emitted at 10.7 AGeV ¹⁹⁷Au-emulsion interaction is reported. The production rate of helium fragment due to fragmentation of ¹⁹⁷Au ion is studied and compared with that obtained from same projectile at different energies. It is found that the multiplicity distribution of helium projectile fragments obeys a KNO scaling.
