Simple Model of Gradient Refractive Index Coatby Etching Ion Track

  • High energy heavy ions generate potential tracks on the face of insulated material, and a porous surface with gradient refractive index can be formed by etching the ion tracks. Here, a simple geometrical model for simulating the porous surface is proposed which can calculate the refractive index with the effective medium theories.
