Modification of First and Second Order Field Indices for Sector Magnet

  • Correction surface coils were used to modify the first (α coils) and second (β coils) field indices. When the current of correction coils is 3 A, α=0.052，β=0.27, respectively. The experimental results match with theoretical expectations, and the deviation for α is about 1%, the deviation for β is about 2%.
