Response Characteristics of Fission Neutron Detector by Using Monte-Carlo Method
High sensitivity is required for a detector used in nuclear inspection. Based on the response characteristics, the parameters of the spherical neutron detector used for inspecting plutonium were studied by Monte-Carlo simulation method in the paper. It is seen that the method can raise work efficiency and help to analyze the experimental results.
