Seismic Analysis for Discharging Heat Exchanger of Chemical and Volume Control System

A finite element model for chemical and volume control system（RCV） discharging heat exchanger was set up to take seismic analysis by finite element method. The loads include weight, pressure, temperature, pipe load and earthquake. The result was evaluated by RCC-M and ASME. The results of evaluation indicate that the design of RCV discharging heat exchanger is satisfied with the requirement of standard.
