Effects of Material Property on Reactor Pressure Vessel Structure Integrity During Pressurized Thermal Shock Events

  • The background and research status in quo of pressurized thermal shock (PTS) analysis were introduced and the reactor pressure vessel (RPV) structure integrity analysis method based on deterministic fracture mechanics was also explained in this paper. The research emphasis was focused on the effect on the RPV structure integrity of material mode and irradiation during PTS events.
