Efficiency Simulation of Atmospheric Particle Filter Sample

  • Based on the process of 2003 Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) intercomparison of atmospheric particle filter sample that organized by the organization, the structure of HPGe detector and the geometry of sample used in the comparison were described in detail. The peak efficiency and total efficiency of the filter sample were simulated by using the MCNP. The simulation results are agreed with referenced values in 3.5% and 6.5%, respectively. This work makes quantitative analysis of sample more accurate.
