Laser Ablation Property of Aluminium 8-hydroxyquinoline/ Phthalocyanine/Polystyrene Planar Target

  • In the designing of structure for new efficient target, some organic bilayers were induced to the implosion target surface and could transmit the energy along the film surface to achieve the symmetrical compression and the efficient implosion. So the organic bilayer, Alq3/H2Pc or PV/H2Pc, was deposited on PS planar target surface and characterized by photoluminescence spectra and laser ablation. The results show that the Alq3/H2Pc and N, N’-diphenyl glyoxaline-3, 4, 9, 10-perylene tetracarboxylic diimide (PV)/H2Pc bilayer films present strong quenching. As the conducting property of the photo-generators in the lateral direction, the Alq3/H2Pc and PV/H2Pc functional coating could suppress the laser ablation largely and the ablation acreage was as large as 8 times and 3 times of the ablation acreage of PS film without any coating, respectively. So this kind of functional coating on the target provides a new structure in the designing and developing of the new efficient ICF target.
