Hot Deformation Behavior of Zr-Sn-Nb-Fe-Cr Alloy

  • The hot deformation behaviors of Zr-Sn-Nb-Fe-Cr alloy in the thermal range of 600980 ℃ and strain rate range of 0.00150 s-1 were studied by using hot compressing test on a Gleeble1500 simulator. The processing maps were calculated and analyzed according to the dynamic materials model. By using the processing maps the optimum processing parameters of hot deformation in this experiment can be attained as followings: The hot deformation temperature is 600630 ℃, the strain rate is 0.001 s-1; And the hot deformation temperature is above 980 ℃, the strain rate is in the range of 110 s-1. The instability zones of flow behavior can also be recognized by the maps
