Effect on Symmetric Attribute for Eccentricity of Plutonium Material in Sealed Container

  • The symmetric attribute is an important attribute of plutonium component in weapon generally installed in sealed container. When the symmetry axis of plutonium component coincides with that of container, the radiation distribution is cylindrical. The radiation distribution out of the sealed container is dissimilarity when symmetry axis is departure, and the estimation is consequently inaccuracy. The radiation distribution in theory was simulated, and the effect of eccentricity was investigated.
