Design of Horizontal Paint Bump Magnet Prototype for China Spallation Neutron Source Rapid Cycling Synchronous Injection

  • Design of the horizontal paint bump magnet prototype for China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) rapid cycling synchronous (RCS) injection was introduced. In order to meet design requirements and the spatial position requirements, an asymmetric window frame core was proposed, and some technical problems during the development of the prototype were solved. The results of magnetic field simulation and experiment show that this structure design is reasonable.
