Structure of Spontaneous Fission Spectrum of 252Cf and Its Impact on Neutron Albedo Experiments’ Simulation

  • Aimed at the problem of the energy spectrum of spontaneous fission source, which was used in neutron albedo experiments, we selected two sets of 252Cf fission spectra, which were fitted by formulae and were universally accepted. And they were applied in neutron albedo experiments independently. Neutron fluence and fission rate on each detecting point were compared and analyzed. The results show that Watt spectrum agrees the experiment data better than that of Maxwell spectrum.
