Mathematics Model and Parameter Calculation for Reverse Flow Diverter

  • The mathematics model was established based on flow characteristics of reverse flow diverters (RFD) by the using of energy equation. Through the experimental platform for rating RFD’s merits, discharge coefficient Cd and pressure recovery coefficient Cp in the mathematics model were deduced. The results, which show that discharge coefficient is determined by inflow structure of RFD and Cp is linear with K when RFD’s structure parameter is constant, will promote the development of RFD’s fluid dynamics model.
