Measurement of Linear Response Upper Limit for Lutecium Oxyorthosilicate Scitillator in High Dose Rate to Pulsed Gamma Radiation

  • The linear response upper limit of lutecium oxyorthosilicate scitillator at high dose rate to pulsed gamma radiation was measured by using Lissajous figure method at the pulsed gamma equipment ‘Qiangguang-Ⅰ’. The results of experiment indicate that the light response of LSO is still linear when the pulsed gamma energy flux is below 1.9×1019 MeV/(cm2•s), otherwise,non-linear phenomenon appears.
