Development of Integrated Nuclear Heating Reactor Ⅱ and Its Application Prospect

  • Integrated nuclear heating reactor Ⅱ(NHR/Ⅱ-200) was developed by Institute of Nuclear and New Energy Technology in Tsinghua University based on NHR-200. NHR/Ⅱ-200 is water cooled, integrated, fullpower natural circulation reactor with passive safety features. Its safety characteristics and main design parameters were presented. NHR/Ⅱ-200 can supply 1.5 MPa saturated steam. It can be applied not only to district heating and seawater desalination, but also to process steam and seawater reverse osmosis desalination.
