Analysis of Effect on Main Pump Startup With Slow Speed due to Thermal Expansion Difference of Graphite Guide Liner

  • This paper analyzes and verifies unsuccessful startup with slow speed of the main pump under hot standby condition, and makes the conclusions through computation of temperature field with the main pump’s motor under hot standby condition, performance tests of thermal expansion of the graphite guide liner of the guide bearing, and verification of troubled motor disassembled, and tests of trouble reproduction.
