Performance Test of Special Filter Paper for Continuous Radioactive Aerosols Monitor

The special filter paper (type TSF22045) used for the radioactivity aerosol monitors was developed. The basic characteristic parameters of the filter paper were measured and studied experimentally. The results show that the filter paper has good surface characteristic for aerosol particle collection and very strong anti-pull strength. Thus it is advantageous to improve the monitoring sensitivity of the monitors, as well as to make filter paper roll used in the aerosol monitors with the filter paper translocation systems.
