A New Measurement for Cross-Section of ²⁴¹Am(n,γ)²⁴²Am^g,m Reaction Induced by Fission Neutrons

The crosssection data of ²⁴¹Am(n,γ)²⁴²Am^g,m induced by fission neutrons given by different evaluated data files are very diverse. For this situation, a new method was presented to determine the cross-section of ²⁴¹Am(n,γ)²⁴²Am^g,m using the data from plutonium material experiments. The results obtained from two experiments are 0.506×10^-24cm²(4.1%)and0.505×10^-24 cm²(4.1%), respectively.
