Methodologies for Development of Nuclear Power Plant Emergency Action Level and Their Application

Methodologies and technical system for development of emergency action levels (EAL) and their application in Chinese nuclear power plants (NPPs) were investigated. EAL methodologies and technical system developed by US and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) were introduced firstly and then domestic NPPs application and practice were summarized and evaluated. Some pieces of suggestions were proposed to develop EAL guideline documents in China.
