Fault Tree Analysis for Exhaust Ventilation System of Control Area in Heavy Water Research Reactor

  • A reliability analysis for exhaust ventilation system of the control areas in the heavy water research reactor (HWRR) was made based on fault tree approach. The failure rate of the exhaust ventilation system was analyzed. The factors which affect failure rate of the exhaust ventilation system were analyzed. The result indicates that AC bus and maintenance personnel are the main affective factors for the reliability of ventilation system.
