Coincident Measurement of γ Cascade for Element

  • A technique of coincidence measurement was presented to enhance full-energy peak by strongly depressing the Compton platform and escape-peaks and thus simplified the analysis. It took the sum of full-energy-peaks of the γ cascade of certain element as gate signals to pick out full-energy γ-ray peaks for certain element, and spectra without Compton platform were obtained. According to certain coincidence windows, γ-rays of an element can be picked out from complicated γ-ray field.
