Applications of Instrument Neutron Activity in Film Material of Tritide Targets

  • Twelve trace impurity elements in metal titanium and yttrium were determined by instrument neutron activity analysis (INAA), which are used as the tritide film materials of the neutron generator. Some problems in experiment were analysed. The detection limit (DL) values were calculated. The measurement results for standard reference material show that the determined values are almost accordant with the recommended value, with RSD not more than ±10%.
