Application of Computer Tomography Image Reconstruction Method in Penumbral Imaging

  • The CT (computer tomography) image reconstruction and penumbral imaging were conventional radiation image diagnostic methods. A novel penumbra image analyzing method, in which CT image reconstruction method was applied. A coded-aperture image analyzing method with no consideration of the system point spread function (PSF) was firstly presented, and technical difficulties in conventional code-aperture image analyzing due to uncertainty of the diagnostic system PSF were thus resolved. Based on the theoretical results, penumbra imaging and image reconstruction of a simple example are processed, and satisfactory results are achieved.
