Process of ACE Formatted Thermal Scattering Data SabDEP and Research on Thermal Data Interpolation

  • Based on latest release of version Ⅶ of the Evaluated Nuclear Data File (ENDF/B-Ⅶ) and evaluation method, a new ACE (A Compact ENDF) formatted thermal neutron scattering data SabDEP (S(α,β) of Department of Engineering Physics) was developed including H in light water, D in heavy water, Be, graphite, H/Zr and Zr/H with six temperatures for each material. The validation was done by comparing data with downloaded and integral ones. With a clear knowledge of thermal ACE structure, temperature related interpolation research was done, and a good result was achieved.
