Calculation and Analysis of Fuel-Coolant Interaction in Reactor Pit by Using MC3D Code

This paper briefly introduced the international main codes, which use to fuel-coolant interaction (FCI) calculating and analyzing, and their differences. Then, the paper introduced the characteristics, qualification and application of French FCI code MC3D, discussed the process and results of using MC3D to calculate and analyze FCI in ex-vessel reactor situation, and summarized the questions which were met during calculation and solutions.
