Flow Characteristics of 239PuO2 Aerosol Particles in Ventilating System

  • Flow characteristics and trajectories of 239PuO2 particles under different work conditions in simulated accident were researched with computational fluid dynamic method. The results show that the closed door of work room is propitious for radioactive aerosol to discharge from air vent. The results provide an important reference role for operational people to avoid the harm from radioactive aerosol.
