Measurements and Evaluations of 71Ga(n,γ)72Ga and 180Hf(n,γ)181Hf Capture Cross Sections

  • To clarify the difference amongst the experimental data of 71Ga(n,γ)72Ga and 180Hf(n,γ)181Hf neutron capture cross sections, measurements with activation method were carried out on 600 kV CCW accelerator and 5SDH2 tandem accelerator in CIAE. Cross sections of these two reactions at four points of incident energy were acquired. With these results, experimental data in libraries in the energy range from 0.01 MeV to 4 MeV were evaluated and some of them were modified and selected. Finally, with the fitting of the experimental data, the excitation function within the energy range was recommended.
