Measurement of Neutron Yield and Angular Distribution of 9Be(d,n)10B Reaction Between 100 keV and 500 keV

  • Because of the stability and high neutron yield, metal beryllium can be used as the neutron source target in portable neutron generator. However, the yield and angular distribution of 9Be(d,n)10B reaction are not available in the low energy range, which is important for the design of portable neutron generator. The neutron yield and angular distribution at 5 energy points between 100 keV and 500 keV were measured at 600 kV CCW accelerator in CIAE.
