Abstract
The transport and deposition of aerosols in nuclear fuel cycle criticality accident were analyzed utilizing CONTAIN code. The results show that the airborne aerosol concentration, the size distribution and the deposition processes are affected by the connectivity of cells and the existence of steam by different grades. Aerosol diffusion between cells is not obvious under dry conditions, while steam notably encourages the effects of deposition and diffusion of aerosols.
