Research of Thermoluminescence Dating for Ancient Debris Flow Materials in Qingshui River Basin of Beijing

  • The thermoluminescence age of the samples for ancient debris flow terraces material of Lingshan and Hongshuikou, which are in Qingshui River Basin of Beijing, was studied using the thermo luminescence technology. The age increases with the increasing depth of two ancient debris flow profile, and the deeper debris flow deposits material the more of the environmental radiation dose is. The trend with depth of U, Th and K contents and annual dose is consistency. And the change with depth of Th content is more discrete than that of U, K contents.
