Object Data Mining and Analysis on 3D Images of High Precision Industrial CT

There are some areas of interest on 3D images of the high precision industrial CT, such as defects caused during the production process. In order to take a close analysis of these areas, the image processing software Amira was used on the data of a particular workpiece sample to do defects segmentation and display, defects measurement, evaluation and documentation. A data set obtained by scanning a vise sample using the lab CT system was analyzed and the results turn out to be fairly good.
