Coupler Tuning for Constant Gradient Travelling Wave Accelerating Structures

The method of the coupler tuning for the constant gradient traveling wave accelerating structure was described and the formula of coupling coefficient β was deduced on the basis of analyzing the existing methods for the constant impedance traveling wave accelerating structures and coupling-cavity chain equivalent circuits. The method and formula were validated by the simulation result by CST and experiment data.
