Synchronization Method of Digital Pulse Power Supply for Heavy Ions Accelerator in Lanzhou

  • The performance of the synchrotron depends on its synchronization. A kind of synchronization method of digital pulse power supply in Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou-Cooler Storage Ring (HIRFL-CSR) was presented in detail, which is a kind of system on a programmable chip (SOPC) based on optical fiber and optical-custom component. The test of the digital power supply was performed and the current waveforms of pulse mode were given. The results show that all targets can meet the design requirements.
