Spatial Uniformity Analysis of Multi-laser-beam Focusing System

  • An optical system was designed to detect the spatial uniformity of focal spot of single-laser-beam and multi-laser-beam focusing system. A program was developed to calculate the nonuniformity factor and power-in-barrel (PIB) of laser beam effectively based on Matlab and GUI system. The results show that the nonuniformity factor of the six-laser-beam system “Heaven Ⅰ” is less than 2% when the PIB is 70%. Therefore, the system can provide uniform focal spot for EOS experiments.
