Experimental Rersearch of Nuclear Reaction Rate in China Experimental Fast Reactor

  • This research was advocated in order to measure the nuclear reaction rate distribution in China Experimental Fast Reactor (CEFR). An experiment to get this parameter is necessary to obtain the license. A series of same foil detectors were placed in specific radial positions (or axial positions) of the initial loading of CEFR by using specialized subassembles based on the measured induced radioactive activities of these detector foils after irradiation. And nuclear reaction rates were determined. Furthermore, the distribution of nuclear reaction rate was obtained by using normalization method. The experimental results are in good agreement with theoretical calculations.
