Analysis of Method in Core Power Reconstruction

  • Two reactor core reconstruction methods based on the deviation fitting principle which included the weight coefficient method and polynomial fitting method were provided. Two theoretical core power distributions were generated by nodal code SMART. Based on the theoretical core power distributions, the reactor powers were reconstructed by two methods. The result shows that the weight coefficient method is better than polynomial fitting method in the case of local transient state. However, both two methods have comparable performance for the steady state.
