Development and Verification of Subchannel Analysis Code LINDEN

  • LINDEN is the self-reliant subchannel analysis code of China Guangdong Nuclear Power Holding Co., Ltd. (CGNPC), which employs the four-equation drift flux model of two-phase flow. The entire code has reliable and stabile calculating ability by using modular, object-oriented programming technology. COBRA-Ⅳ and LINDEN were used to calculate the Daya bay Unit 1 and 2 at the steady-state conditions. The comparison results show that the two codes agree well with each other. LINDEN is suitable for thermal hydraulics analysis of large pressurized water reactor.
