Development and Preliminary Validation of SN Transport Module in Lattice Code LATC of COSINE Package

  • This paper discusses the theoretical model of discrete ordinate (SN) transport module, which is used in the assembly parameter calculation code LATC. Through the comparison of benchmark, the transport module was verified based on one and two -dimensional SN theory and diffusion synthetic acceleration (DSA) method of the independent developed LATC code. The results show that SN transport module of the LATC code is in good agreement with those benchmark tests. The correctness of SN transport module in the LATC code is preliminarily verified.
