Preliminary Study on Indirect Neutron Radiography Method at CARR

  • China Advanced Research Reactor (CARR) is an excellent platform for indirect neutron radiography (INR). The experimental conditions of the INR at CARR were calculated and analyzed by the Monte Carlo method, based on which the first and the second exposure time was calculated. The INR experiment was carried out with the sample of dummy fuel rods at one of the CARR’s thermal neutron beam channel, and the methods of processing and analyzing the neutron images were also studied.
