Experimental Investigation on Onset of Flow Instability in Porous Media Channel With Internal Heat Source

  • The onset of flow instability (OFI) in the porous media with internal heat source was investigated experimentally. The results show that the higher the heat flux is, the weaker the system stability is; and the influence of inlet subcooling on system stability is non-monotonous. A new q OFI correlation was obtained by analyzing the experimental data using regression method.
