Preparation and Characterization of Ni-doped Carbon Aerogel by Pulse Electrodeposition Method

  • Ni-doped carbon aerogels were successfully synthesized by pulse electrodeposition method, and were confirmed by XRD, SEM-EDS and TEM. SEM-EDS images show that a great number of Ni particles homogeneously present in the network of carbon aerogels. Nitrogen adsorption data analysis shows that the specific surface area, total pore volume, micropore volume and mesopore volume of carbon aerogels decrease after Ni-doping, which means that Ni particles fill part of the mesopore and micropore of carbon aerogels.
