Application Research on Monitoring Fuel Element Rupture by Improved Key Nuclide Method

  • According to the present situation that key nuclides in primary coolant can not be monitored in real-time, various influencing factors of rapidly measuring nuclides were analyzed, and the improved key nuclide method was proposed based on the decay properties of nuclides. The results indicate that the speed and accuracy of measuring short-lived fission nuclides are improved by packet-segmentation measurement with portable γ spectrometer.
