Numerical Simulation of Primary Side for Intermediate Heat Exchanger in CEFR

  • Using commercial CFX code 3D simulation, the 1/6 primary side of intermediate heat exchanger (IHX) in CEFR was investigated. The temperature distribution, velocity distribution and their change trends of IHX primary side were acquired. The results show that the IHX satisfies design requirement. The results will be technical preparation for commissioning and operation of CEFR.
