Study on Prediction Model of Irradiation Embrittlement for Reactor Pressure Vessel Steel

  • The study on prediction model of irradiation embrittlement for reactor pressure vessel (RPV) steel is an important method for long term operation. According to the deep analysis of the previous prediction models developed worldwide, the drawbacks of these models were given and a new irradiation embrittlement prediction model PMIE-2012 was developed. A corresponding reliability assessment was carried out by irradiation surveillance data. The assessment results show that the PMIE-2012 have a high reliability and accuracy on irradiation embrittlement prediction.
